Entry Requirements
in order to apply you should have either:
- This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 and above.
- 5 or more GCSEs and above or other related level 2 subjects or other equivalent international qualifications

Description
The issues and concepts dealt with as part of this suite of Qualifications are best explored through exposure to organisations, for any full-time Learners work placements are encouraged so that genuine experience and insight can be gained. Problem solving and creativity are attributes encouraged and developed in Learners through all the Units.
Examples of activities which can contribute to Total Qualification Time include:

Learners who possess Qualifications at Level 3 and/or 4:

Overview
The objective of the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the health and social care sector at a managerial level.
The programme enables learners to demonstrate their skills by producing evidence from their work activities, to meet national occupational standards. Learners will acquire care management skills in the Health and Social Care sector.

- Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification as recognised by UK NARIC

- Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course

Overview
The objective of the Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification is to develop learners’ understanding of policy, management theory and practice in health and social care. It provides learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals, services users and policy makers in their own country. It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective manager in the hospitals/social care industry. It combines both theoretical and practical knowledge in the health and social care profession. The qualification will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of leading change, effective performance, planning and accountability, development and team leadership. Learners will be able to work in a variety of roles within health care administration and/or management.
